Ivy House A Musical Performance
All our welcome to join us at The Birley Centre on Sunday 19th May 2019 as we present A Musical Variety Performance!
This musical extravaganza will be performed by the Ivy House family and will bring you a fabulous variety of song and dance! Rehersals are already underway and for a sneaky peek do visit our Facebook page! We are also thrilled that Tom Fitzpatrick will be opening the show!
Our intention is that the Variety Performance will once again help us to raise awareness and funds for dementia.
What is the Ivy House Performance?
As you know, there is plenty of opportunity for ‘performance’ at Ivy House be it an impromptu poetry reading, singing a favourite song and our companion team often put on small ‘shows’ for the clients for their entertainment. This upcoming variety performance is focused around music and dance also included will be some poetry reading and our Ivy House choir. We encourage as many of our clients to be involved in some way and it is important to them that they attend this event and spend time with their Ivy House friends and share this with you and other extended family.
The next Ivy House show is scheduled to take place on Sunday 19th May 2019 at the Birley Centre. Doors open at 2.30pm with the performance starting at 3pm. We anticipate the show lasting two hours and there will be a short interval.
To reserve your ticket(s) please complete and return the enclosed form. Payment is ‘by donation’ (historically the trend has been a £10 donation per ticket to give you a guide).
Clients of Ivy House need not make a donation but they will need to be brought to and from the Birley Centre on the day! It would be helpful if the gents where possible could be dressed in a white shirt (we have plenty of black ties) and the ladies dress up as the dress code is Black Tie!
Please return your booking form by no later than Monday 13th May. Tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis so we would encourage you to complete your forms and return them to us as soon as possible.
