Business Awards 2018

Eastbourne Business Awards 2018

Ivy House are thrilled to be finalists in the Business Awards 2018. The event itself is hosted at the Grand Hotel on Friday 2nd November 2018.

What are the Business Awards 2018 and why are they important to Ivy House?

The Business Awards are a celebration of business excellence within the circulation of the Eastbourne Herald newspaper and the awards are there to recognise, reward, and celebrate local businesses.

Ivy House has been in running for over 8 years now and we are determined to be the best in our field for customer experience and service.

Supporting families living with dementia is what we do and to be recognised (nominated) and acknowledged (finalists) is a huge achievement in itself. It shouts to our local community that we are competing at the top of our game!

Ivy House is a finalist in the following categories:-
Outstanding Contribution to the Community – Ivy House Day Centre
Team of the Year – Ivy House Day Centre
Business Personality – Jane Lowe

We are proud of the additional offering over and above our 7 days a week sessions hosted at Ivy House for people with dementia.

• The FREE | OPEN TO ALL Saturday Support Group
• The OPEN TO ALL monthly Supper Club
• The OPEN TO ALL monthly Sunday Lunch Club
• The FREE | OPEN TO ALL Sing and Swing Group
The Eastbourne Dementia Café
• The role we play in the Eastbourne Dementia Action Alliance

The committed awesome team at Ivy House work hard and over and above their responsibilities to deliver this service to our community. There is also the event and entertainment element of Ivy with the Musical Performance hosted at The Birley Centre in its fifth year, the Christmas Concert at All Saints Chapel and multiple onsite events. It is in the team’s DNA which is why we are so proud to have been nominated as Team of the Year and Outstanding Commitment to the Community.

Anyone who has met Jane will know the drive and passion to support people with dementia. In our eyes, she IS business personality of the year, working tirelessly to affect change in our community and with families to make things a little easier. She lights up a room and when you hear about her plans for the Ivy House Hotel you will be in no doubt too.

We will keep you posted about how we get on but wanted to share a little more about the awards.
