Good Life Show - Thursday 26th November 2019
Ivy House hosted an information stand at The Good Life Show, put on by the Eastbourne Seniors Forum. The event was well attended by the general public despite the rain and the Ivy team were able to share with visitors to the stand how Ivy House can support families who are living with dementia through the free activities or attending the day centre.
Thank you to all who we met - we thoroughly enjoyed meeting you.
Last Days of Summer Party - Tuesday 24th September 2019
To mark the end of the summer we hosted a little party for our clients. It's important to mix things up and everyone had a great time! Our clients enjoyed a buffet lunch and entertainment by the brilliant Jim Pyle from Full Beam Productions.

Eastbourne & District Community Awards 2019
Ivy House are delighted to share that we were awarded Highly Commended in the recent Corporate Social Responsibility category at Eastbourne District Community Awards!

The awards themselves took place on Thursday 12 September and was a fantastic evening recognising the hard work of those who make our community so special and unique. See you next year!
Musical Variety Performance, Sunday 19th May 2019
Ivy House raised the roof of the Birley Centre on Sunday. A letter from Dame Vera Lynn was read out at the concert by Jane (see left) and boasted a start studded group of acts who gave their time for free. Thanks to Tom Fitzpatrick, The Naked Poet, Stephen Lloyd, Angelica Choir, June Aitken and of course the incredible team at Ivy House! With an audience of over 200 pax it was an afternoon to remember - and we are looking forward already to planning 2020! See you then! Business Awards Winners - 2nd November 2018
Ivy House was awarded Team of the Year at the Business Awards 2018 hosted at the Grand Hotel on Friday 2nd November! The Business Awards are a celebration of business excellence within the circulation of the Eastbourne Herald newspaper and the awards are there to recognise, reward, and celebrate local businesses.
Jane Lowe, Founder, Director of Care and Dementia Consultant spoke on behalf of Ivy House and said: “I am proud of the Ivy House team. Each staff member works tirelessly and joyfully at Ivy House. We have an incredible skill set with each individual playing their part. I am enormously proud of this award as should they!”

was excitement enough but then, finalists felt beyond our wildest dreams and then we won! Ivy House received the award for Contribution to the Community 2018!
Jane Lowe, Founder, Director of Care and Dementia Consultant spoke on behalf of Ivy House and said: ‘This award means a huge amount to the team at Ivy House. What is more exhilarating is that this award puts dementia on the map. An award of this kind, for a business of this kind, has not been given before at the Women in Business Awards East Sussex and is a real accolade to the work of the team and our community reach. Dementia is not something that is going away and to share knowledge and educate our community that you can live well with dementia is something that Ivy House is passionate about. Thank you so much!’
